Summary

Title: Appian Developer
Location: Malvern, PA (Hybrid)

Skills Required:

Certification: Active Appian Certification (Required).

  • Technical Expertise: Appian process models, records, interfaces, integrations, and data structures, Strong SQL
  • Delivery & Collaboration: Strong experience in Agile environments, collaborating directly with cross-functional product, engineering, and business teams.
  • Goal: Design, build, and support scalable Appian solutions to automate business processes and improve user experience.

Core Technical Skill Requirements

  • Appian Certification: An active, valid Appian Developer certification is strictly required.
  • SQL Skills: Strong SQL/database experience is required for backend development.
  • AWS & Java Knowledge: Experience with AWS (preferred, not required) and general Java/full-stack development background is a bonus.
  • Modern Appian Features: Experience with modern Appian functionality (e.g., Records over CDTs, Data Fabric, Composer, AI integration/Claude) is strongly preferred over legacy systems.
  • Key Non-Technical Competencies:
    Communication: Strong ability to collaborate directly with business stakeholders and 5 product owners across locations.
  • Conceptual Thinking: Proactive problem-solver who can drive projects independently from the ground up rather than acting as an "order taker".
