AnaVation is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our growing work program to support a wide range of IT-focused tasks. We are seeking a team member who will provide superior customer service and is committed to the successful operation of our customer's information technology systems. The selected candidate will work with customers remotely and in person, guiding them through systems configuration and troubleshooting, while aiming to resolve issues with efficiency. Core Responsibilities include:
  • Helpdesk & Technical Support: Resolve end-user support tickets, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and assist with computer setups.
  • Hardware & Software Maintenance: Install, configure, and update workstations, peripherals, and operating systems.
  • Network & Infrastructure Support: Monitor local area networks (LAN), Wi-Fi, routers, and switches to maximize system uptime.
  • Security & Backups: Enforce basic cybersecurity measures, run data backups, and follow disaster recovery procedures. )
  • Asset & Vendor Management: Track IT inventory, document system processes, and coordinate with external tech vendors.

This position is on with our customer in Quantico, VA and cannot be supported remotely.
This position requires an active Top Secret clearance and the ability to obtain SCI accesses with a CI polygraph.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience
  • 2 years of related IT experience
  • Must hold a Current Top Secret clearance. Will be required to undergo a CI poly.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of Windows/Mac/Linux environments, networks, and hardware components. Familiarity with implementing security hardening settings (STIGs)
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose and fix technical faults quickly, either independently or by escalating complex issues.
  • Communication Skills: Strong customer service mindset to assist non-technical staff at all organizational levels. Ability to explain technical concepts to personnel of all skill levels. Ability to compile information into useful reports.

$41,379.16 - $107,331.57 a year

The listed salary range reflects our market-based compensation structure. Final compensation will depend on business needs, local market conditions, internal equity, and the selected candidate's skills, education, and experience.
