Job Description
We are seeking a hands-on Master Data Management (MDM) Architect with strong Reltio expertise to lead enterprise MDM initiatives and implement scalable data management solutions. The ideal candidate will define and drive the end-to-end architecture of a modern MDM platform, supporting multiple domains such as Customer, Product, and Supplier while enabling data governance, cataloging, and lineage capabilities.
This role requires a professional who can combine strategic architecture vision with hands-on implementation, guiding teams through Reltio-based MDM deployments, golden record creation, match/merge logic, hierarchy management, and stewardship workflows.
Key Responsibilities
MDM Architecture & Implementation
Define and own the Reltio MDM reference architecture and roadmap
Lead cloud-based MDM implementations
Design multi-domain mastering strategies across enterprise data
Master Data Design
Define match/merge rules, survivorship logic, and trust frameworks
Design product taxonomies, hierarchies, and reference data models
Establish data standards and crosswalks
Data Governance & Catalog
Implement enterprise data governance frameworks
Enable data cataloging and automated lineage
Establish data stewardship roles and governance processes
Automation & AI
Delivery Leadership
Lead Agile teams for MDM implementations
Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams
Provide technical leadership for enterprise data initiatives
Security & Compliance
Ensure data security, privacy, and regulatory compliance
Align MDM architecture with enterprise governance policies
Required Qualifications
15+ years of experience in Master Data Management
2+ full lifecycle Reltio Cloud MDM implementations
Experience with Informatica Cloud MDM implementations
Strong expertise in:
Golden Record Management
Match/Merge and Survivorship Rules
Data Hierarchies and Reference Data
Data Governance and Stewardship
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Skills
Experience with other MDM platforms such as Informatica or Ataccama
Knowledge of metadata management, catalog, and lineage tools
Experience with cloud platforms and integration APIs
Reltio certification preferred
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
