Job Summary

Job Description

DUTIES: Develop software and web applications using Python, Java, Spring, and Spring Boot; use DevSecOps tools including Docker, AWS tools including API Gateway and CloudWatch, Maven, and Jenkins for CI/CD; develop technical architecture using UML, REST API standards, AWS components including Lambda and SQS, and Spring Boot constructs; work on AWS cloud technologies including Lambda and SQS; develop software in an Agile development environment; design and implement RESTful APIs; work with Telecommunications Operations Support Systems (OSS), including ServiceNow, JIRA, and CAB requests; use Open Source Cassandra or MongoDB for processing highly scalable data; build dashboards using Tableau. collaborate with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements; conduct analysis to determine integration needs; design new software and web applications, support applications under development and customize current applications; assist with the software update process for existing applications and roll-outs of software releases; participate in training representatives and operations staff on internally developed software applications; research, write and edit documentation and technical requirements, including software designs, evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals and formal recommendations and reports; monitor and evaluate competitive applications and products; review literature, patents and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects; and work with Quality Assurance team to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements. Position is eligible to work remotely one day per week, per company policy.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, and two (2) years of experience developing software using Python, Java, Spring, and Spring Boot; using DevSecOps tools including Docker, AWS tools including API Gateway and CloudWatch, Maven, and Jenkins for CI/CD; developing technical architecture using UML, REST API standards, AWS components including Lambda and SQS, and Spring Boot constructs; of which one (1) year includes working on AWS cloud technologies including Lambda and SQS; developing software in an Agile development environment; designing and implementing RESTful APIs; working with Telecommunications Operations Support Systems (OSS), including ServiceNow, JIRA, and CAB requests; using Open Source Cassandra or MongoDB for processing highly scalable data; and building dashboards using Tableau.

SALARY: $98,738.00 to $140,000.00 per year

Compensation
Base Pay: $98,738.00

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
