JOB TITLE:   Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Technical Developer

POSITION SUMMARY

Local Candidates only. Direct hire (No C2C or Third parties). Onsite 4 days a week 1 day from home.

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Technical Developer to lead technical architecture, development, integrations, and performance optimization across the Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications ecosystem, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management, and integration with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE/CRM).

This role will serve as the technical authority for D365 solutions, ensuring scalable architecture, secure integrations, and high-performing customizations that align with enterprise standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·        Architecture & Design

o   Lead end-to-end technical architecture for Dynamics 365 solutions, ensuring scalable design, strong integration across ERP/CRM and external systems, and alignment with Microsoft best practices and release updates.

·        Development & Customization

o   Design and develop custom solutions using X++, extensions, APIs, data entities, reporting (SSRS/ER), and security models.

·        Integration & Middleware

o   Architect and implement integrations using Dual-write, OData, REST APIs, and Azure Integration Services, including data synchronization between D365 FSC and CE.

·        DevOps & Environment Management

o   Manage LCS environments, execute code promotion across Dev/Test/Prod, implement CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, and optimize system performance.

·        Technical Leadership

o   Provide technical guidance through mentoring, code reviews, production support, root cause analysis, and collaboration with functional teams on solution design.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS

Experience

·        7+ years of hands-on experience across Dynamics Applications such as Finance & Supply Chain, Customer Engagement

·        Proven experience in at least 1–2 full lifecycle implementations (design ? build ? deploy ? support) of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE/CRM).

·        Experience with upgrades and code refactoring to extensions model

·        Advanced object-oriented programming in X++

·        Development of:

o   Tables, forms, classes, queries, views, maps

o   Batch jobs and SysOperation framework

o   Custom services (AIF / custom service classes)

o   Debugging, performance tracing, and optimization

o   Best practice suppression management and code quality tuning

D365 Extension Framework

·        Extensions vs. overlayering strategy

·        Event handlers (pre/post events)

·        Chain of Command (CoC) implementation

·        Form extensions (controls, data sources, methods)

·        Table extensions and field groups

·        Metadata-driven development best practices
