About the Shop
The shop is seeking a Lead A-Level Automotive Technician in Sarasota, FL who wants steady volume, advanced repair work, and a pay plan that rewards production.
This is a high-volume, flat-rate environment for an accomplished technician who can reliably produce 45+ flagged hours per week while handling advanced diagnostics and major mechanical repairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform engine removal, replacement, and major mechanical repairs
- Complete timing chain repairs and internal engine work
- Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical concerns
- Identify root causes through accurate automotive diagnostics
- Complete advanced repairs independently
- Maintain 45+ flagged hours per week while delivering quality work
- Work with the team to maintain consistent workflow and productivity
Qualifications
- 5+ years of automotive repair experience; 10+ years preferred
- A-Level diagnostic and advanced troubleshooting ability
- Experience independently completing major mechanical repairs
- Proven ability to reliably produce 45+ flagged hours per week
- Experience working in a flat-rate, production-based environment
- Ability to balance productivity with repair quality and accuracy
- European vehicle experience with BMW, Mercedes-Benz, or Audi preferred
