We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and dynamic Senior Security Engineer to join our rapidly growing Tech Services team. This is a permanent role that will focus on enhancing the security of our application services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in application security, a passion for problem-solving, and a deep understanding of the latest industry trends and technologies.

Responsibilities:
As a Senior Security Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Developing and implementing robust security measures, protocols, and procedures to protect our applications from potential threats or attacks.
2. Conducting regular security audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities and risks in our application systems.
3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into the development and deployment of applications.
4. Designing and maintaining security architectures for our software applications.
5. Providing technical leadership and guidance on all aspects of application security to other team members.
6. Keeping abreast of the latest security trends, technologies, and threats to ensure our applications remain secure.
7. Responding promptly and effectively to any security incidents or breaches.
8. Training and mentoring junior security engineers and other team members on best practices in application security.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Senior Security Engineer role will have the following qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, focusing on application security.
3. Demonstrated experience with security frameworks, standards, and best practices.
4. Strong knowledge of various security technologies and solutions.
5. Proven experience in conducting security audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability testing.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly in high-pressure situations.
7. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical team members.
8. Relevant professional certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) would be an added advantage.
