Job Details

We have an immediate opening for a Highway Engineering Leader to help build and manage a highway design group within the Texas market. This role will be central to expanding our presence across Texas - hiring and mentoring staff, guiding the overall direction of our growth in the state, and supporting broader company expansion.

Leadership responsibilities include:

Operating with integrity and sound business principles
Business planning and strategy
Establishing goals and growing/directing the roadway design practice
Building and maintaining positive client relationships
Open communication with partners and team

Requirements:

Minimum 15 years of experience designing transportation projects
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
PE in Texas
Strong knowledge of TxDOT policies and procedures
Track record of developing and growing engineering groups and establishing internal/external relationships
Ability to manage and mentor staff at all levels and direct resources effectively
Ability to ensure quality and timeliness of deliverables and supervise execution of work
Ability to travel to project sites, offices, and client meetings
