AMTECH Encore ERP Techno-Functional Specialist 

Location and Onsite Expectations:  preference for candidates local to Reading, Pennsylvania, with the expectation of initial onsite presence for onboarding and periodic in-office attendance for major meetings, though fully remote candidates would be considered if necessary. (Elite- Reading, PA- Ideal is local to Reading, PA- this is not likely! So, you can look at anywhere in the US).

We are seeking an experienced AMTECH Encore ERP Techno-Functional Specialist to support, optimize, and stabilize our Encore ERP environment. This role combines both technical system administration and functional business process support, serving as a key resource for system configuration, user management, training, testing, and end-user adoption.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AMTECH Encore ERP, including supporting ERP implementations or legacy system transitions, configuring system settings, managing security and user access, leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and developing training materials to support business users. This individual will act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure Encore is effectively supporting operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary AMTECH Encore ERP subject matter expert for both technical and functional support.
• Support ERP transitions, upgrades, and post-implementation stabilization efforts, including legacy system migrations to Encore.
• Configure Encore modules, workflows, system settings, and business process functionality.
• Manage system security, user roles, permissions, and access controls.
• Create, maintain, and modify user accounts while ensuring compliance with security standards.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand workflows, gather requirements, and recommend system improvements.
• Lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, including:
• Test planning and scenario development
• Test execution support
• Defect tracking and resolution validation
• Readiness assessments
• Develop and maintain training materials, job aids, SOPs, and user documentation.
• Conduct remote end-user training sessions and knowledge transfer activities.
• Organize and maintain system navigation, process flows, and system documentation to improve usability and adoption.
• Provide troubleshooting and functional support for users and production issues.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on ERP utilization, business processes, and user experience.

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AMTECH Encore ERP in a technical, functional, or techno-functional capacity.
• Experience supporting ERP implementations, upgrades, migrations, or legacy system transitions to Encore.
• Strong understanding of:
• System configuration
• Security administration
• User management and access controls
• Business processes supported by Encore
• Proven experience leading or supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) initiatives.
• Experience developing ERP training materials and supporting end-user adoption.
• Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while partnering effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within manufacturing, packaging, distribution, or supply chain environments.
• Experience supporting post-go-live ERP stabilization efforts.
• Prior involvement in ERP rollouts, implementations, or major system upgrades.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and non-technical business users.

Experience driving user adoption, process improvement, and operational efficiency through ERP systems
