We are seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate a modern, scalable
cloud platform that enables engineering teams to deliver applications efficiently and securely.
This role moves beyond traditional “cloud infrastructure” or “architect”
responsibilities—focusing on platform engineering, automation, developer enablement, and
governance at scale. You will play a key role in building a self-service cloud platform,
establishing standards, and driving operational excellence across AWS and Azure
environments.
You will partner closely with CloudOps, Security, and Engineering teams to deliver a centralized
DevOps platform capability aligned to our Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) strategy.
What You’ll Do
Platform Engineering & Enablement
Design and build a cloud platform that enables self-service infrastructure provisioning
Develop standardized, reusable platform components (networking, compute, storage,
identity)
Enable developers through golden paths, templates, and platform APIs
Improve developer experience by reducing friction in provisioning and deployment
Infrastructure as Code & Automation
Build and manage infrastructure using Terraform (required)
Create and maintain reusable Terraform modules and pipelines
Implement GitOps and CI/CD-driven infrastructure delivery
Automate provisioning, configuration, and operational workflows
Kubernetes & Modern Platform Services
Design and operate container platforms (EKS )
Support microservices architecture and containerized workloads
Integrate platform services such as:
o Service mesh (optional)
o Secrets management (Vault, native cloud solutions)
o Container registries (ECR )
o ArgoCD & Github actions
Platform Observability & Reliability (SRE Practices)
Implement monitoring, logging, and observability frameworks
o AWS CloudWatch-Datadog
Define and track SLIs / SLOs / SLAs
Participate in incident response and on-call rotations
Conduct root cause analysis and drive continuous improvement
Security & Governance
Implement cloud-native and Platform security and governance controls
Enforce platform guardrails and compliance standards
Integrate security into pipelines (DevSecOps model)
Support enterprise security tooling and frameworks
Collaboration & Leadership
Partner with engineering teams on architecture and platform adoption
Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and platform governance
Mentor engineers and promote platform engineering best practices
Maintain high-quality documentation, diagrams, and playbooks
Required
8–10+ years of experience in cloud engineering / platform engineering
Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Azure (multi-cloud preferred)
Expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
Deep knowledge of:
o Cloud networking (VPC routing, connectivity)
o Identity (AWS IAM, Azure Entra ID)
Experience with Kubernetes (EKS / AKS) and container platforms
Strong understanding of DevOps / SRE principles
Experience building highly available and scalable systems
Preferred
Experience building internal developer platforms
Familiarity with GitOps (ArgoCD) and CI/CD pipelines
Experience with observability tools (Datadog, New Relic, etc.)
Exposure to enterprise cloud governance / CCoE models
Experience with cloud migrations (on-prem → cloud)
