Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Plano, TX or Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role is responsible for testing and delivering complex software requirements to accomplish business outcomes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in UI and API test automation using Java, Selenium, and RestAssured. This individual will work within an Agile environment, leading test planning, executing both manual and automated test suites, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Responsibilities: - Ensure software meets functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements through comprehensive testing
- Condition and generate test data, building and executing both manual and automated test suites
- Communicate test results and assist with defect triage
- Lead test planning and case reviews, collaborating with subject matter experts and stakeholders
- Create and manage traceability throughout the development lifecycle
- Implement and maintain test automation frameworks and identify new automation opportunities
- Execute manual and automated tests, reporting issues and defects with clear background information
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
Requirements: - 8+ years of experience in software testing and delivery
- 5+ years of experience with Selenium, Automation, and Core Java
- Proven experience in UI and API test automation with Java using Selenium and RestAssured
- Experience with Jenkins and GitHub/BitBucket
- Experienced in Agile methodologies
- Lean Agile Certification
Pay range: $50.42 - $58.42 per hour
