Title - Dell Backup & Data Protection Solution Architect

Client - Walgreens is through Dell.

Location - Onsite in Chicago

Backup as a Service-Must have PPDM (PowerProtect Data Manager, data domain, Avamar, etc

Solution delivery:

Lead deliverables and guide team member on Dell software retention lock

NetWorker

Avamar

DDBoost client directs

DDVE

Environments based on current (Install base)

On-Prem Datacenters

Distribution Sites

MFCs sites

Azure.

• Client Counts
  • Avamar: 2034
  • Networker: 4,967 (includes ~1,038 clients writing to Azure DDVE)
  • DataDomain Direct writes (Ex: Ddboost, Netezza, Oracle, etc): ~120

Lead deliverables and guidance of Non-software or Non-Dell product retention lock

NFS

CIFS

AS400/VTL

DB Oracle and SQL

Scripting / automation

Guidance on Data Domain Compliance mode enablement

Note : We can enable Compliance mode without using Compliance retention lock

But need guidance where Compliance is better fit to apply and more secure and help implement

Enablement on policies

Multiple retentions (35 days, 15, days, 10 days)

Archive data (6 months or more)

Legal hold (indefinite)

Work commitments:

• Weekly updates on the progress made
• Focus on deliverables and NOT work-on-the-clock mode.
• Collaboration with WBA team members and Partner MS team (TCS)
• Jump start on engagement
• Should be able to have ease of access to Dell product/solution team if consultation required.
