Summary

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a QC Associate II for a contract position with a Major Pharmaceutical Company located in Fremont, CA. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity.

As a part of the QC In-Process Testing (IPC) team, this role is responsible for executing and coordinating routine and non-routine testing of bulk drug substance and intermediates within a multi-product facility. The ideal candidate will perform laboratory operations independently, ensuring all work complies with cGMP and cGDP requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Execute and coordinate routine and non-routine testing of bulk drug substance and intermediates
  • Perform laboratory operations including HPLC titer, UV-Vis absorbance, endotoxin testing, pH, osmolality, total organic carbon (TOC), conductivity, and sample aliquotation
  • Perform essential laboratory support activities such as maintaining inventory of consumables and materials and properly disposing of expired reagents
  • Deliver high-quality analytical results within established timelines, ensuring accuracy
  • Accurately document all work in compliance with cGMP and cGDP requirements
  • Promptly and accurately report deviations, abnormalities, or out-of-specification results
  • Maintain laboratory workspaces in accordance with established 5S and cleanliness standards

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Biology or Life Sciences
  • 3-5 years of industry experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral)
  • Strong customer focus and an ability to interact with various departments and levels
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet departmental/facility goals
  • Strong attention to detail and an ability to focus on details of execution

Desired skills:
  • GMP experience
  • Technical skills in HPLC (titer), aseptic technique, osmolality, total organic carbon (TOC), conductivity
