Job Summary

We are looking for an Oracle Application Tester to test Oracle applications and make sure they work correctly according to business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements and prepare test cases.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and system testing.
• Execute test cases and record test results.
• Identify and report application defects.
• Track defects and work with developers to resolve issues.
• Perform database testing using basic SQL queries.
• Test Oracle application changes, enhancements, and fixes.
• Perform end-to-end testing of business processes.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Prepare testing status and defect reports.
• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and business users.

Required Skills

• 2–5 years of experience in software testing.
• Experience testing Oracle applications.
• Good knowledge of manual testing concepts.
• Knowledge of SQL and Oracle Database.
• Experience creating and executing test cases.
• Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira or ALM.
• Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good to Have

• Experience with Oracle EBS or Oracle Fusion.
• Knowledge of Oracle modules such as Finance, SCM, Procurement, or HCM.
• Basic knowledge of automation testing is an advantage.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
