Our client has a FT opportunity for PowerBuilder BI Analyst/Developer. Must have at least 7 years experience, Designing, developing, and maintaining data models, schemas, and ETL processes to support reporting and analytics needs
Job Responsibilities:
Data Warehouse Management
- Administer and maintain the organization s enterprise data warehouse, ensuring data integrity, availability, and optimal performance
- Design, develop, and maintain data models, schemas, and ETL processes to support reporting and analytics needs
- Monitor data pipelines and proactively identify and resolve data quality, latency, or integration issues
- Establish and enforce data governance standards, including data validation, documentation, and audit controls
- Optimize warehouse performance, storage efficiency, and query response times
Data Integration and Vendor Data Management
- Import, integrate, and validate data from external vendors, clearinghouses, practice management systems, EHRs, and financial platforms
- Develop automated workflows for recurring data ingestion, transformation, and reconciliation
- Ensure consistency and alignment across disparate data sources, including payer, billing, collections, and operational datasets
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define data specifications, mapping requirements, and integration protocols
- Troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies between source systems and warehouse data
Power BI Development and Data Visualization
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support operational and executive decision-making
- Build scalable semantic models, measures, and calculated fields using DAX and Power Query
- Translate business requirements into intuitive, actionable, and visually compelling dashboards
- Maintain reporting standards, naming conventions, and documentation for Power BI assets
- Optimize report performance, usability, and refresh schedules
Provider Portal and Application Support
- Support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of the organization s provider portal and associated reporting infrastructure
- Ensure accurate and timely availability of provider-level performance, productivity, and financial metrics
- Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to define portal data requirements and reporting features
- Troubleshoot data-related issues impacting portal functionality and reporting accuracy
Financial Analytics and Performance Reporting
- Develop and maintain reporting and analytics related to financial performance, including revenue, collections, payer performance, and operational KPIs
- Support finance, revenue cycle, and executive leadership with recurring and ad-hoc financial analysis
- Identify trends, anomalies, and performance improvement opportunities through data analysis
- Assist in developing standardized metrics and definitions across the organization
Predictive Analytics and Advanced Analytics
- Support predictive modeling initiatives, including forecasting revenue, collections, volumes, and operational performance
- Assist in developing and maintaining predictive and statistical models using Power BI, SQL, and related analytical tools
- Identify patterns and predictive indicators to support strategic planning and operational improvement
- Collaborate with leadership to translate predictive insights into actionable recommendations
Cross-Functional Collaboration and Data Strategy
- Work closely with Finance, Revenue Cycle, Operations, IT, and executive leadership to support data-driven decision-making
- Translate business needs into technical reporting and data solutions
- Provide training and support to end users on Power BI dashboards and reporting tools
- Contribute to the organization s overall data strategy, reporting infrastructure, and analytics maturity
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Strong experience with Microsoft Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and Power Query
- Experience managing enterprise data warehouses and ETL processes
- Advanced SQL skills and experience working with relational databases
- Experience integrating data from multiple external vendors and systems
- Experience with financial, healthcare, or revenue cycle analytics strongly preferred
- Experience with predictive analytics, forecasting, or statistical modeling preferred
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
