Senior Project Manager (ERP Implementation) Contract
Location: West Chester, PA Onsite 5 days per week for the first two weeks, then hybrid (3 days per week onsite)
Duration: 6 months to 12 months, with potential for extension

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the execution and deployment activities of an ERP implementation currently in progress. The project charter, governance structure, and project plan have already been established. The successful candidate will focus on driving execution, coordinating cross-functional activities, managing deployment readiness, and ensuring a smooth transition to the new ERP environment.
This role is ideal for a hands-on Project Manager with proven experience delivering ERP implementations, managing multi-site rollouts, coordinating end-user training programs, and overseeing post-go-live support activities.
The organization is implementing Infor ERP, however candidates with successful experience implementing other major ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, JD Edwards, Workday, Infor, etc.) are perfectly acceptable.
Key Responsibilities
ERP Cutover Management
- Lead and coordinate all ERP cutover activities to ensure a successful transition from legacy systems to the new ERP platform.
- Develop, maintain, and execute detailed cutover plans and readiness assessments.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, IT, vendors, and implementation partners.
- Identify, manage, and mitigate risks that could impact deployment timelines or business operations.
- Drive issue resolution and provide executive-level status reporting during critical deployment periods.
Training Coordination and Rollout Management
- Coordinate end-user training activities across approximately 15 business locations.
- Develop rollout schedules and ensure training plans align with deployment timelines.
- Partner with business leaders, subject matter experts, and training teams to ensure users are prepared for go-live.
- Track training participation, readiness metrics, and adoption milestones.
- Manage communications and change management activities supporting site deployments.
- Facilitate successful sequential rollouts across multiple locations.
Hypercare and Post-Go-Live Support Oversight
- Oversee hypercare support activities following go-live.
- Monitor support ticket volumes, resolution times, and service level performance.
- Escalate issues appropriately when support queues increase or critical business issues arise.
- Coordinate with technical support teams, business users, and ERP vendors to ensure timely issue resolution.
- Maintain visibility into recurring issues and drive root-cause analysis activities.
- Provide regular reporting on system stabilization and adoption metrics.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of Project Management experience leading large-scale enterprise technology initiatives.
- Proven experience managing ERP implementation or ERP deployment projects.
- Strong experience with ERP cutover planning and execution.
- Experience coordinating user training programs for enterprise software deployments.
- Experience managing multi-site or multi-location system rollouts.
- Experience overseeing hypercare support and post-production stabilization activities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional business and technical teams.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and executive reporting skills.
- Experience managing project risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP certification or equivalent project management certification.
- Experience working with manufacturing, distribution, supply chain, or enterprise operations organizations.
- Familiarity with change management and organizational readiness practices.
