Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Developers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Analyze, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and related technologies.
- Troubleshoot application issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement enhancements and defect fixes.
- Develop and integrate application components, RESTful services, and database solutions while ensuring application performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with development teams, support knowledge transfer activities, and contribute to software development best practices.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:

Education
|
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience
|
5+ years of experience in Java application development, database integration, and enterprise software development.
|
|
Technical Skills
|
Java, JSP, DB2, Hibernate, RESTful APIs, JSON, SQL
|
|
Business / Domain Skills
|
Application Development, SDLC, Root Cause Analysis, System Integration, Technical Documentation, Problem Solving
|
|
Communication
|
Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
|
|
Documentation
|
Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.

|
Work Authorization
|
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing enterprise web applications using Java frameworks and relational databases.
- Familiarity with industry standards, system integration, and API-based application development.
- Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills with experience supporting application enhancements and production support.
