Azure Data Engineer – Data & Analytics Domain

Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Azure Data Engineer with strong expertise in building and managing scalable data solutions within the Azure ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and optimizing ETL pipelines, along with a solid understanding of modern data engineering practices.
This role requires a professional who can work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient data integration, processing, and delivery. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and implementing best practices for cloud-based data solutions.
The selected candidate will also play a key role in documenting data workflows, improving system performance, and supporting continuous innovation in Azure-based data platforms.
Key Responsibilities
· Design, develop, and manage ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF)
· Optimize and troubleshoot ADF workflows to ensure performance and reliability
· Work with Azure Data Lake, Synapse, and related services for data storage and processing
· Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformations
· Document ETL processes, pipeline configurations, and data flow diagrams for maintainability
· Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance within cloud environments
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and implement data requirements
· Implement CI/CD pipelines and manage version control using Git
· Continuously explore and adopt best practices for Azure-based data engineering solutions
· Support data integration and transformation processes across multiple data sources
Required Qualifications
· Strong proficiency in SQL, including advanced query optimization and stored procedures
· Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) for pipeline development
· Experience working with Azure Data Lake, Synapse, and related Azure services
· Solid understanding of ETL concepts and data integration best practices
· Proven ability to troubleshoot and optimize data workflows
· Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
· Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance in cloud environments
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, OneLake)
· Exposure to modern data architecture patterns and cloud-native solutions
