Genesis10 is currently seeking a Printer & Endpoint Infrastructure Engineer - Hybrid position with a Leading Consumer Electronics Retailer located in Richfield, MN. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.
Compensation: $53.00 - $55.00 per hour, W2, based on qualifications Position Overview: This role supports enterprise printing and endpoint infrastructure across retail and supply chain environments. The position is responsible for the engineering, support, modernization, and lifecycle management of Lexmark and Zebra printer platforms, including firmware management, monitoring, automation, troubleshooting, and operational readiness. The engineer will partner with infrastructure, deployment, support, and vendor teams to improve device reliability, standardization, and supportability.
Key Responsibilities: - Lead engineering and support efforts for Lexmark and Zebra printer environments across retail and supply chain operations
- Investigate and resolve complex hardware, firmware, driver, and configuration issues
- Manage printer firmware testing, validation, deployment, and lifecycle activities
- Administer and improve printer monitoring, reporting, and management platforms, including MarkVision Enterprise
- Drive device discovery, inventory management, and configuration standardization efforts across supply chain locations
- Create technical documentation, operational procedures, knowledge articles, and implementation guides
- Execute change management, incident management, and problem management activities for production systems
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams, deployment organizations, supply chain partners, and external vendors to deliver reliable endpoint and printing solutions
