RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a Workday Systems Architect/AI Lead in Fort Lauderdale, FL responsible for designing and leading scalable Workday Financials solutions with a focus on enterprise architecture, integrations, intelligent automation, and AI-driven capabilities.
Responsibilities include:
* Assess Finance systems, applications, data flows, and processes to design future-state architecture centered on Workday Financials
* Lead architecture and implementation of Workday Financials solutions
* Establish Workday technology roadmaps, architecture standards, and governance
* Design integrations, data models, security, APIs, and reporting frameworks
* Translate Finance requirements into scalable technical solutions
* Lead data conversion, validation, reconciliation, and cutover activities
* Design Workday integrations using EIB, Studio, APIs, REST, SOAP, JSON, and middleware
* Develop reusable API and integration patterns, including event-driven solutions
* Lead AI and automation capabilities, including predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and intelligent workflows
* Design data architecture supporting analytics and machine learning use cases
* Identify AI opportunities across financial operations, forecasting, and reporting
* Define responsible AI governance and model oversight standards
* Lead architecture reviews and provide technical leadership to engineering and integration teams
* Ensure solutions meet security, scalability, performance, and enterprise architecture standards
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance Technology, or related field
* 8+ years of software development, systems architecture, or enterprise application experience
* 5+ years of experience with designing and implementing integration architectures
* Workday Financials architecture and integration experience strongly preferred
* Experience leading Workday Financials or ERP/Finance transformation initiatives
* Strong knowledge of Workday EIB, Studio, APIs, and data structures
* Experience with MuleSoft, Boomi, TIBCO, Oracle SOA, webMethods, or similar integration platforms
* Expertise with REST, SOAP, JSON, API management, microservices, SOA, messaging, and event-driven integration patterns
* Experience with cloud architecture and distributed systems
* Strong data architecture, warehousing, and data-flow knowledge
* Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks, intelligent automation, predictive analytics, and data-driven solution design
* Understanding of AI governance and responsible AI controls
* Knowledge of enterprise security, governance, risk management, and financial systems
* Strong architecture, troubleshooting, stakeholder management, and communication skills
* Ability to lead and mentor technical teams and present recommendations to senior leadership
* Experience working in Agile transformation environments
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
