Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12 month contract position.
Responsibilities: - Part of the Application Management Agile Team to support Model onboarding to the Google Cloud Platform (Global Risk Analytics Core Platform) system and/or using/implementing new features
- Model Adoption support and L3 support
- Coordinate with users and across teams to drive and deliver solutions
- Manage/Implement regulatory and security patches, upgrades, and enhancements
- Deliver solutions to automate and/or monitor or improve the system
- Work with Users, Development team, Dev Ops, Business analyst etc. to find quick resolution to the issues
- Work on Global Risk Analytics Platform used by multiple Line of Businesses for Model Development and implementation
- Learn breadth and depth about the whole platform and Models onboarded onto the platform
Requirements: - Advanced Python
- Proven experience building Python applications end-to-end (not just pipeline support)
- Ability to independently develop and deliver moderately to highly complex Python application
- Linux Systems, Networking, Shell Scripting Advance/Intermediate
- Strong Linux fundamentals, including navigating the system, debugging, and networking
- Advance SQL and knowledge of Oracle/Hive/HDFS (Hadoop)
- Solid SQL knowledge, including database behavior and query optimization
- Spark/PySpark
- Prior application or framework development experience
- Distributed Systems, CI/CD Systems
- Python Software Engineer
- Distributed Computing with Spark
- Object oriented
Desired skills: - Experience with Jenkins, Ansible, Splunk, Grafana
Pay Range: $55.06-$63.06
