This position will be remote with 75% travel and candidates can reside in any of the listed locations provided in the posting.

Compensation: USD 75,000 105,000

Role Summary

We are looking for a Technical Service Representative to support customers in the flexographic and gravure printing industry. The role will focus on providing technical expertise for water-based and solvent-based inks and coatings, troubleshooting print issues, supporting product trials, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical support to flexographic and gravure printing customers.
Troubleshoot printing, ink, and coating-related issues at customer sites.
Lead press trials, product launches, and performance evaluations.
Work closely with Sales, R&D, Manufacturing, and Regulatory teams.
Build strong customer relationships and act as the primary technical contact.
Maintain technical reports and service documentation.
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Travel to customer locations as needed (up to 70%).

Must-Have Skills

5+ years of experience supporting Flexographic and/or Gravure Printing.
Strong knowledge of water-based and solvent-based inks and coatings.
Experience with print troubleshooting, color matching, and defect analysis.
Understanding of pressroom operations, substrates, drying systems, and surface treatments.
Customer-facing technical support experience.
Ability to work independently and manage technical projects.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Willingness to travel extensively (up to 70%).

Preferred Skills

Experience with color management tools (e.g., X-Rite).
Knowledge of lamination, coating, and converting processes.
Understanding of VOC compliance, safety, and environmental regulations.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Printing Technology, or a related technical field preferred.
