Job SummaryWorking under direct supervision, and employing exceptional customer service, assists in the support of client, clinical and medical technologies and their related systems. Collaborates with more senior Technical Analysts, care providers, end-users and other Information Services (IS) teams to assist in workflow analysis, process improvement, communication/education, requirements definition, testing installation, replacement, troubleshooting and problem resolution. Helps ensure alignment with regulatory, biomedical and IS standards by learning and employing the care processes, workflows, systems and safety risks for all areas of assigned location(s). Assists with end-user problem identifications and problem resolution. May assist in documenting workflows, problems, resolutions and IS procedures. May also assist with care provider and end-user trainings.
Essential Functions- Under direct supervision and guidance of a more senior Technical Analyst, may work with a variety of care providers, end-users and IS teams to assist in the support of client, clinical, and medical technologies and their systems. May assist with device, application and workflow analysis; process improvement; communication/education; requirements definition; navigation; recommendations; installation; replacement; and problem resolution.
- Assists in the documentation of workflows, problems, resolutions and IS procedures.
- Helps with problem resolution, and is learning how to employ event correlation/log analysis, failure analysis/reporting, root cause analysis and risk assessment.
- May participate in process improvement efforts, projects, testing and evaluation of new clinical systems, and implementation of prototypes.
QualificationsRequired
- Associate's Degree /Technical school or equivalent
Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- 2 years of relevant experience in the field
- Experience supporting client, clinical and medical technologies and systems
