Role Overview

This role focuses on ensuring telemetry compliance and automating testing for product code scenarios. The engineer will review code, validate telemetry standards, and develop automation tools for testing.
Responsibilities

• Review product code and validate telemetry standards.
• Develop automation tools for testing and quality assurance.
• Work with application logs, telemetry, and query data in storage using SQL or scripting.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance and improve testing processes.

Typical Day

• Execute feature UI testing and automation tasks.
• Perform coding and scripting (JavaScript, TypeScript preferred).
• Develop tools and solutions using managed languages (C#, Java, Python).
• Query and analyze data using SQL or similar scripting tools.

Key Projects

• Telemetry compliance validation.
• Automation of testing workflows.
• Code review and bug fixes.

Candidate Profile

• Ideal Candidate:
  • Strong UI testing skills.
  • Proficiency in scripting (JavaScript or TypeScript) and managed languages (C#, Java, Python).
  • Experience with application logs, telemetry, and SQL queries.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in testing and application development.
• Experience with database technologies and ETL processes.
• Knowledge of at least one scripting language.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
