Role OverviewThis role focuses on ensuring telemetry compliance and automating testing for product code scenarios. The engineer will review code, validate telemetry standards, and develop automation tools for testing.
Responsibilities- Review product code and validate telemetry standards.
- Develop automation tools for testing and quality assurance.
- Work with application logs, telemetry, and query data in storage using SQL or scripting.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance and improve testing processes.
Typical Day- Execute feature UI testing and automation tasks.
- Perform coding and scripting (JavaScript, TypeScript preferred).
- Develop tools and solutions using managed languages (C#, Java, Python).
- Query and analyze data using SQL or similar scripting tools.
Key Projects- Telemetry compliance validation.
- Automation of testing workflows.
- Code review and bug fixes.
Candidate Profile- Ideal Candidate:
- Strong UI testing skills.
- Proficiency in scripting (JavaScript or TypeScript) and managed languages (C#, Java, Python).
- Experience with application logs, telemetry, and SQL queries.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in testing and application development.
- Experience with database technologies and ETL processes.
- Knowledge of at least one scripting language.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
