Mandatory Skills & Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of overall IT experience with a strong focus on SAP integration technologies, including significant hands-on experience (5+ years) in SAP CPI / SAP Integration Suite.
Technical Expertise:
In-depth knowledge of the full SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), including SAP Integration Suite, API Management, and SAP Event Mesh.
Proficiency in developing complex integration logic using Groovy Script and/or JavaScript, and XSLT/Graphical mapping.
Expertise in various communication protocols and adapters (SOAP, REST, OData, SFTP, IDoc, HTTP, RFC, etc.).
Strong understanding of secure integration practices and authentication methods (OAuth 2.0, SAML, Client Certificates, API Keys).
SAP System Knowledge: Proven experience integrating with core SAP modules (e.g., S/4HANA, ECC) and cloud applications (e.g., SuccessFactors, Ariba, Salesforce).
Project Lifecycle Experience: Experience in leading at least 2-3 full lifecycle end-to- end implementation projects.
Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication (written and verbal) skills, with a proven ability to work with cross-functional global teams and clients.
Desired Skills & Certifications (Good to Have)
Certifications: SAP Certified Technology Associate - SAP Certified Technology Associate - SAP Integration Suite or similar certification is highly advantageous.
Legacy Integration Experience: Prior experience with SAP Process integration/Orchestration (PI/PO) and knowledge of migration strategies to SAP CPI.
DevOps Knowledge: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools like Git and Jenkins.
B2B/EDI Experience: Knowledge of B2B/EDI integrations (X12, EDIFACT, AS2, etc.) and experience with the SAP Integration Advisor.
ABAP Knowledge: Basic ABAP knowledge for debugging and working with SAP back- end systems.
Industry Experience: Experience in specific industries (e.g., Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, Manufacturing) is a plus.
