Our client, a social networking industry, is looking to hire a Loss Control Engineer IV in Prineville, OR.
Pay Rate Range: $90/hr to $104/hr on w2, depending on experience
Responsibilities: About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Site Loss Control Specialist with a strong background in construction safety to support large-scale, complex construction projects. This role plays a critical part in the success of an Owner Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP) by ensuring effective safety practices, regulatory compliance, and risk management across job sites.This is a full-time, onsite position with occasional travel (up to 30%).
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for construction activities and jobsite operations
- Partner with project teams and contractors to drive a zero-incident safety culture
- Provide guidance on site safety methodologies, best practices, and compliance requirements
- Lead incident investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
- Track and monitor safety issues through to resolution
- Collaborate with internal loss control teams to ensure adherence to program standards
- Support and deliver on-site safety training and continuous improvement initiatives
- Build strong cross-functional relationships to enhance safety performance
- Integrate into construction sequencing to promote best-in-class safety execution
- Effectively operate within an OCIP environment
Requirements: Minimum Qualifications- 8+ years of dedicated experience in construction safety roles
- Proven experience working within an OCIP environment
- Strong background in risk management and loss control practices
- Experience conducting incident investigations, reporting, and corrective actions
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with project teams and contractors
- Knowledge of construction practices, including fast-track design-build processes
- Experience with ground-up construction and greenfield developments
- Experience supporting retrofit projects in live or occupied environments
- Understanding of electrical and mechanical systems (MEP) relevant to construction projects
Preferred Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety or a related field
- Professional certifications such as:
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
- Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST)
- OSHA 50 / OSHA 500 certification
- Experience with mission-critical or data center construction environments
- Ability to lead safety training programs and drive EHS improvements

Experience Required- 8–10 years of relevant construction safety experience
