Salary: $140,000 - $185,000 per year

Job Details- Manage venture capital fund audit engagements from pre-planning through report issuance and binder close, with minimal oversight from Directors or Partners
- Develop audit strategies, risk assessments, engagement plans, staffing plans, and timelines
- Review workpapers, financial statements, and related documentation for accuracy and compliance with professional standards
- Research and resolve technical matters including investment valuations, partner allocations, capital activity, distributions, and syndication costs
- Supervise multiple engagements and teams simultaneously, reallocating resources as needed
- Serve as a primary day to day client contact throughout the audit lifecycle
- Explain technical accounting and auditing matters to teams and clients
- Draft management letter comments and discuss findings with clients
- Support billing and collections for assigned clients
- Mentor, train, and supervise Associates and Seniors
- Promote the firm's mission and culture through actions and communication
Qualifications
- Current and active CPA license
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 to 9 years of public accounting audit experience
- Experience serving venture capital, private equity, investment companies, or alternative investment fund clients
- Strong understanding of GAAP, investment company accounting, audit methodology, and risk assessment
- Proven ability to supervise, mentor, and develop Associates and Seniors
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple engagements, deadlines, teams, and client relationships at once
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
