Hello,
I am Mohammed Dastagir with Saxon Global Inc wanted to let you know about the job opportunity for Endpoint Engineer position if interested please share your updated resume along with expecting rate.
Title: Endpoint Engineer
Work Arrangement: Hybrid, onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
Office: 1041 W Valley Rd, Wayne, PA
Duration: 8–12-Month Contract
Level: Mid-Level – Low-Senior Level
Only on W2
Project Need
The Enterprise Security & Fraud organization is rolling out new security capabilities and making updates to existing tools across the Windows endpoint environment, with a particular focus on endpoint security and Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
The existing endpoint engineering team has been asked to support these security initiatives while continuing to manage its normal operational responsibilities. To create additional capacity, the team is adding an Endpoint Engineer who can take ownership of a portion of the existing day-to-day endpoint workload. This will allow current team members to shift their attention toward the Enterprise Security & Fraud initiatives without creating gaps in ongoing endpoint support.
This is a hands-on engineering and operational role rather than an architecture or strategy position. The ideal candidate is a solid mid-level engineer who is comfortable working independently within an established enterprise environment, understands Microsoft Intune and Windows endpoint management, and can take assigned work from troubleshooting or configuration through the formal change process.
Job Summary
The Endpoint Engineer will support the administration, configuration, maintenance, and ongoing operation of the enterprise Windows endpoint environment. The engineer will work primarily with Microsoft Intune and Windows 11, handling policy changes, endpoint configurations, troubleshooting, change records, and business-as-usual operational requests.
A key part of the role will be owning the detailed execution work required to maintain and update endpoint configurations. This may include investigating an endpoint issue or application behavior, modifying the appropriate configuration or policy, testing the change, creating the required change records, obtaining approvals, and supporting implementation.
The engineer will also partner with operations teams when incidents or recurring endpoint issues require additional troubleshooting or formal problem management.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Windows endpoint configurations and policies using Microsoft Intune.
- Create, modify, test, and deploy Intune policies and configuration changes.
- Support Windows 11 endpoints within a large enterprise environment.
- Perform ongoing business-as-usual endpoint engineering and operational support.
- Investigate and resolve endpoint configuration issues, policy conflicts, application behavior, and other Windows desktop-related problems.
- Execute routine endpoint changes such as application configuration adjustments, browser/pop-up settings, security-related updates, and policy modifications.
- Own changes through the established change-management lifecycle, including preparing change records, documenting planned modifications, securing appropriate approvals, and supporting implementation.
- Work with operations teams on incidents and problem records that require endpoint engineering involvement.
- Assist with endpoint security-related changes and configurations as new security controls are introduced into the environment.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of endpoint security and DLP-related requirements as defined by the appropriate security teams.
- Validate endpoint changes and troubleshoot issues following implementation.
- Maintain clear technical and change documentation for configurations, troubleshooting activities, and completed work.
- Identify repetitive administrative tasks that could potentially be simplified or automated.
- Collaborate with endpoint engineering, infrastructure, operations, and security teams to resolve technical issues and maintain a stable Windows endpoint environment.
- Balance planned engineering/change work with ongoing operational and BAU responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience supporting and engineering Windows endpoints in an enterprise environment.
- Practical experience administering Microsoft Intune, particularly device configuration and policy management.
- Strong experience supporting Windows 11.
- Experience troubleshooting Windows endpoint, application, configuration, and policy-related issues.
- Experience implementing endpoint changes within a structured change-management process.
- Comfortable creating technical documentation and change records and working through required approval processes.
- Ability to independently investigate an issue, determine the appropriate technical change, and execute the work within established standards.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with infrastructure, operations, and security teams.
- Capable of managing day-to-day responsibilities without requiring significant hands-on direction.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience supporting endpoint security technologies or security-focused endpoint configurations.
- Exposure to Data Loss Prevention (DLP) technologies or endpoint DLP initiatives.
- Experience scripting or automating Windows endpoint administration, particularly with PowerShell.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts or configuration automation.
- Experience working in a large, structured enterprise technology environment.
- Familiarity with formal incident, problem, and change-management processes.
