Summary

Role: Appian Developer

Location: Louisville, TN

Duration: 6 months

Job Description: Minimum 8+ years of Appian BPM experience

Must have L2, (L3 is Optional) Appian certified

Evidence of designing business solutions that demonstrate clear business benefit.

Experience of working on Agile projects.

Knowledge of Designing Process in Appian using Appian Analyst and Designer view.

Knowledge of Appian Smart Services.

Knowledge of Tempo Interface.

  • Develop and implement the Appian and web-based applications
  • Provide technical guidance to mid-level developers as and when required
  • Works with business users to translate business requirements into technical designs to map and load data from source systems to the data warehouse
  • Building critical Appian based application as well as associated integration components
  • Develop applications in Appian business process management and integrate with other interfaces/products
  • Problem Solver and ability to estimate and size Appian business requirements

Debug issues in Interfaces and Process Models

Proven track of working closely with key business users

Experience of Scenario-based requirements gathering.

Experience in designing, developing and implementing advanced business process management (BPM) solutions that leverage Appian's AI and agentic capabilities.

  • Experience in deploying and configuring Appian AI Skills, including generative AI prompts, document and text classification, data extraction, and sentiment analysis, using low-code tools.
  • Experience in creating processes that seamlessly blend AI-driven automation with human oversight.
  • Experience in utilizing Appian's Agent Studio to configure, deploy, and manage AI agents that can reason, adapt, and take initiative within structured and governed workflows.

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Good knowledge of the product including BPM Fundamentals, Architecture Components, Technical Features such as Designer Features, Configurations in Appian etc.
  2. Should have hands on experience in design and development in Appian BPM including components such as Tempo, Mobility Features, Forums, Discussions, Pages, Smart Services, Reports, Deployment etc.
  3. Should have good knowledge of Java, J2EE, Ajax, JavaScript, JS, XML, XSLT etc.

Appian Analyst and Appian Designer Level certified Ability to lead a team of distributed engineer Should have done multiple integrations with external systems Ability to scope Appian Projects

Good-to-Have

  1. Must have Appian L2 Certifications.
  2. Should have handled teams & should be able to mentor the team.
  3. Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  4. Should have good knowledge of Appian Administration and servers such as JBOSS\WebSphere\WebLogic etc.

Mentor teams, Juniors and provide proper guidance
