Job Title: Digital Product Manager - Retirement (NYC)

They are seeking a Digital Product Manager with proven experience in retirement-focused digital products, specifically in areas such as IRAs, rollovers, or retirement account transfers. In this role, you will lead initiatives to optimize the customer experience for individuals managing or moving retirement assets. You'll work closely with UX, engineering, compliance, and operations teams to reduce friction in key journeys and deliver intuitive, compliant, and high-conversion digital solutions. This is a one-year contract with a hybrid schedule (three days per week onsite in either NYC or NJ). Extension or full-time conversion is possible but not guaranteed.

Requirements:
- 3-5 years of digital product management experience within financial services
- Must have direct experience working on retirement-related products such as IRAs, rollovers, or similar
- Strong understanding of regulatory and operational nuances in retirement account management
- Skilled in data analysis and using insights to guide product strategy
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and digital product development tools
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
- Experience in managing service communications and related platform enhancements is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Own and drive the product roadmap for digital retirement and rollover experiences
- Identify user pain points and improve key journeys through data and research
- Partner with UX, engineering, and compliance to develop user-centered, compliant solutions
- Monitor and report on key metrics such as conversion rates, satisfaction, and completion time
- Ensure all regulatory requirements are seamlessly embedded into digital workflows
- Conduct user research and testing to validate assumptions and prioritize feature development
- Coordinate with marketing and service teams to ensure consistent, supportive communication throughout the customer journey
- Help define and refine service communication strategies and platform improvements
