Summary

Solution/Enterprise Architect

Introduction:

We are seeking an experienced Solution/Enterprise Architect with strong expertise in Business, Solution, and Information Architecture to support large-scale enterprise initiatives. The ideal candidate will develop and maintain architecture artefacts (logical/data models), define technical and information architecture requirements, and ensure alignment with enterprise standards and best practices.

Responsibilities:

Define solution structures, interfaces, and reusable components across applications, databases, and middleware.
Develop enterprise architecture deliverables, models, and documentation.
Lead architecture governance, reviews, and approvals.
Support feasibility studies, discovery phases, and solution design for digital credential initiatives.
Provide technical leadership in large, distributed environments and ensure performance, security, and integration standards.

Requirements:

Required Skills:

Extensive experience in enterprise architecture, data modeling, and solution design.
Strong knowledge of middleware, databases, integration, and development tools (CASE tools).
Proven experience in large enterprise environments and architecture governance.
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have:

Experience with Ontario Government EA frameworks, AODA standards, and digital credential ecosystems.
