Quality Engineer 1

We are seeking a Quality Engineer I to support both manual and automated testing efforts across software applications. The ideal candidate has experience in software testing, automation using Python, and a strong interest in mobile application testing.
Responsibilities:

• Execute manual and automated test cases to validate software functionality and performance
• Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts using Python
• Identify, document, and troubleshoot defects and test failures
• Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues
• Participate in regression, integration, and end-to-end testing activities
• Contribute to test planning, execution, and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Software Testing, or a related field
• Experience with both manual and automated testing
• Strong Python programming skills
• Experience testing APIs and web applications
• Understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Mobile application testing experience (iOS and/or Android) strongly preferred
• Experience with mobile test automation frameworks
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test automation tools
• Knowledge of Git and Linux/Unix environments
• Experience troubleshooting issues across multiple systems and environments

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Cupertino, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $45.00/hr.
