Summary

A well-established engineering consulting organization is seeking a seasoned Electrical Engineer to support complex building system projects. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to diverse facility types?including laboratories, healthcare environments, industrial plants, higher education campuses, and commercial developments?while guiding projects from early planning through construction and occupancy.


Electrical Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Lead electrical system design from initial concept through construction administration and post-occupancy evaluation.
  • Coordinate closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within financial targets.
  • Conduct field assessments, site investigations, and evaluations of existing electrical infrastructure.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable building, energy, and safety codes, including industry standards such as NFPA.
  • Develop and document designs using BIM platforms and related engineering software tools.
  • Mentor and review the work of junior engineers, fostering technical growth and maintaining quality standards.

Electrical Engineer Qualifications:

  • Bachelor?s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical design within a consulting or design-build environment.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred; ability to obtain licensure is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of electrical, building, and energy codes and standards.
  • Proficiency with design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, SKM PTW, or similar platforms.
  • Strong communication, project coordination, and analytical problem-solving skills.
