Senior Network Engineer

Location: Anaheim, California (Hybrid) 3 Days Onsite/ 2 Days Remote

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support, secure, and enhance an enterprise network infrastructure. This role is designed for a hands-on engineer who can troubleshoot complex network issues, support critical routing and switching environments, and contribute to network architecture and design. The ideal candidate brings deep experience across Cisco networking, Palo Alto security, SD-WAN, and F5 load-balancing technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Engineer, administer, maintain, and support enterprise network infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot complex network performance, connectivity, routing, and availability issues.
• Configure and support Cisco routing and switching environments, including BGP and EIGRP.
• Administer and support Palo Alto firewall technologies and network security controls.
• Support SD-WAN architecture, implementation, and ongoing optimization.
• Administer F5 Local Traffic Manager (LTM) and Global Traffic Manager (GTM) solutions.
• Contribute to network architecture, high-level design, resiliency, scalability, and availability planning.
• Partner with infrastructure, security, and technical teams to deliver reliable network solutions.
• Document network designs, configurations, standards, and troubleshooting findings.
• Provide senior-level technical guidance and communicate clearly with technical and business stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco network hardware and enterprise routing and switching.
• Deep working knowledge of BGP and EIGRP routing protocols.
• Advanced network troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls.
• Experience with SD-WAN architecture and implementation.
• Experience supporting F5 LTM and GTM technologies.
• Experience contributing to enterprise network design and architecture.
• Ability to work onsite in Anaheim three days per week and travel to the Phoenix data center as needed.
• Strong communication, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

• CCISP
• Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Consultant (PCNSC)
• Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE)
• Relevant advanced network security certification
