Scrum Master

TEKsystems is seeking a Scrum Master in Colorado Springs, CO with proven Infrastructure and Scrum Leadership experience. This will be a long term contract supporting a client in the Financial Services industry. Eligible candidates must possess a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I), or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification.
Description
As a member of the Agile Practice, the Scrum Master's primary accountability is the effectiveness of the development teams they guide. The Scrum Master ensures understanding and application of agile theory and practice within the team and the broader organization. This includes coaching teams in autonomy, responsiveness, stakeholder concern, and continuous improvement; supporting the Product Manager with effective backlog management and an empirical product strategy; and serving the organization by leading, training, and coaching on agile strategies.
Required Skills

• Proven Infrastructure / ITSM Scrum Leadership Experience. Must have 5+ years leading work specifically as a Scrum Master (not a project manager). Looking for direct experience supporting data center, infrastructure, IT operations, and/or ITSM-driven work. Must be comfortable facilitating Agile delivery in environments with:
  • Interrupt-driven work
  • Operational dependencies
  • Service management workflows
• Must be able to hit the ground running with minimal onboarding
• Must possess a Baseline Scrum. Certification must be one of the following:
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
  • Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I)
  • PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
• Must possess an Influencer Mindset (Not Assertive / Command-and-Control). This is someone who leads through influence, facilitation, and trust, not authority. Must be able to coach senior technical teams without directing or micromanaging. Must possess high emotional intelligence and situational awareness
• Understands the realities of infrastructure work (interruptions, dependencies, ITSM flow)
• Requires minimal oversight from leadership
• Can "hit the ground running" in a complex environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr.
