MuleSoft Lead Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable integration solutions that connect disparate systems using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. Bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation through API-led connectivity, with strong technical knowledge in MuleSoft Anypoint API designer, MuleSoft Runtime Engine, API Manager, MuleSoft Anypoint Studio.

Core Responsibilities

  • API Development: Design, build, and deploy RESTful and SOAP APIs using RAML (RESTful API Modeling Language) or OAS (OpenAPI Specification).
  • Integration Design: Create and support, end-to-end integration flows and message-driven architectures using Anypoint Studio and Mule ESB.
  • Data Transformation: Use DataWeave to transform complex data formats like XML, JSON, CSV, and Java Objects.
  • System Connectivity: Should aware of the Implementation connectors for major platforms such AWS to connect with AWS S3 and Dynamo DB.
  • Testing & Security: Conduct unit and integration testing; implement security protocols like OAuth2, HTTPS, SSL and TLS; and apply API policies via API Manager.
  • CI/CD & DevOps: Drive continuous integration and delivery using tools like Maven, Jenkins, and Git.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Technical Proficiency: Deep knowledge of the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform & Studio (Runtime Manager, Exchange, CloudHub) and Java. Extensively worked on CloudHub based applications using different integration patterns like circuit breaker pattern, bidirectional, aync and sync . Good knowledge of SOAP/RESTful based WebServices. Project build and management using Maven. Source control management using GitHub. Developed various mule flows/services, using components.
  • Experience: Typically requires 5+ years of experience in integration development and middleware. Regularly involved with debugging, monitoring, develop documents and processes, etc. Working with the on-site team and off-shore team for functional enhancements application interface development and delivery.
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Certifications: Often requires or prefers MuleSoft Certified Developer (Level 1 or 2).
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
