Job Description:Quevera is seeking a highly skilled
Senior Oracle Database Developer - Data Management with an active
TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph in
Annapolis Junction, Maryland.
This role combines Oracle database development with data stewardship, governance, quality, and migration responsibilities. The position supports the quality, integrity, consistency, and security of enterprise data while developing, maintaining, and supporting Oracle database solutions.
Job Responsibilities:- Maintain the quality, integrity, consistency, and security of enterprise data while supporting data governance policies, standards, and best practices.
- Monitor and resolve data quality issues through data profiling, validation, cleansing, and reconciliation, and maintain business data definitions, metadata, and data lineage.
- Develop, test, and maintain Oracle database applications and solutions, including complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, views, and materialized views.
- Create and optimize SQL queries and database objects supporting reporting, analytics, business applications, and system integrations.
- Plan and execute data migrations for Oracle database implementations, upgrades, consolidations, and cloud migration initiatives.
- Perform ETL/ELT activities, including data extraction, transformation, validation, loading, mapping, reconciliation, and post-migration verification.
- Develop PL/SQL scripts and SQL utilities to automate data conversion and migration processes and troubleshoot migration issues.
- Analyze and optimize SQL and PL/SQL performance, tune database objects and application queries, and recommend database performance improvements.
- Support database security through user roles, privileges, auditing, and compliance controls.
- Collaborate with business users, data owners, application developers, database administrators, and project managers on data governance, database development, and migration activities.
- Maintain technical documentation, including data dictionaries, migration plans, operational procedures, and data quality reports.
Minimum Requirements:- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Five (5) or more years of Oracle Database development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development.
- Experience developing stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, views, and materialized views.
- Experience with Oracle Database 19c.
- Experience planning and executing data migration and conversion projects.
- Strong understanding of ETL processes, data mapping, and data validation techniques.
- Experience with SQL performance tuning and query optimization.
- Working knowledge of data governance, data quality management, and data stewardship principles.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Git.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
