We are seeking an AI engineer to design and build AI-powered accelerators, agents, and automation frameworks that modernize enterprise legacy applications and streamline software delivery. This role is at the intersection of AI, software engineering, and architecture, focusing on transforming technologies like .NET Frameworks, Mainframe, Datastage, and TIBCO into Java, containers, and cloud-native architectures. The position involves developing RAG solutions, fine-tuning prompts and agent behavior, optimizing tokens, and implementing guardrails and evaluation frameworks for AI systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build AI-powered accelerators, agents, and automation frameworks.
- Modernize enterprise legacy applications and streamline software delivery.
- Transform technologies such as .NET Frameworks, Mainframe, Datastage, and TIBCO into Java, containers, and cloud-native architectures.
- Develop Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions.
- Fine-tune prompts and agent behavior for optimal performance.
- Implement guardrails and evaluation frameworks for AI systems.
- Work with modern programming languages like Python or Java.
Required Qualifications
Experience:- 7+ years of experience in modern programming languages like Python or Java.
- 1+ year of hands-on experience building Gen AI or Agentic AI solutions.
- Experience with databases such as DB2, SQL server, and Oracle.
- Experience developing AI-powered applications using LLMs, RAG, and agents.
- A strong understanding of CI/CD, container, and cloud-native development.
Technical Skills:- Primary: Agentic AI and Gen AI (LLMs, RAG, MCP, AI orchestration frameworks), Python, Java, container and cloud-native development.
- Secondary: .Net, TIBCO, Kubernetes/Openshift, Sybase, Oracle.
- Tertiary: ETL and data engineering (Datastage, Databricks), AI governance and security.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in modernizing legacy platforms such as .Net frameworks, TIBCO, and Mainframe (COBOL/CICS).
- Hands-on experience with .Net or Java for enterprise modernization.
