Sr. ServiceNow Manager (CMDB & ITAM Asset Governance)
Location: Bridgewater, NJ (5 days onsite per week)

Organization''''s Configuration Management Database (CMDB), IT Asset Management (ITAM), and ServiceNow governance initiatives. This role is responsible for defining strategy, establishing governance, improving data quality, implementing industry best practices, and driving continuous service improvement across ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, and enterprise technology domains
CMDB Strategy & Governance
- Define and execute the enterprise CMDB roadmap.
- Establish CMDB governance framework, policies, standards, and operating procedures.
- Ensure CMDB supports Incident, Problem, Change, Asset Management, Security, and Compliance processes.
- Drive CMDB maturity improvements aligned with industry best practices.
- Lead Configuration Management governance meetings.
- Define Service, Application, and Configuration Item (CI) standards.
- Own CI lifecycle management from onboarding through retirement.
IT Asset Management (ITAM)
- Own enterprise Hardware Asset Management (HAM) lifecycle.
- Define governance for asset procurement, receiving, deployment, support, refresh, reuse, and retirement.
- Establish lifecycle controls for desktops, laptops, servers, mobile devices, network equipment, and peripherals.
- Drive software asset governance alongside SAM teams.
- Improve asset accuracy through automation and integrations.
- Ensure software license compliance.
- Manage vendor audits and asset reconciliation activities.
ServiceNow Platform Leadership
- Lead ServiceNow CMDB, HAM Pro, Discovery, Service Mapping, and ITSM initiatives.
- Define platform standards and implementation best practices.
- Drive adoption of Out-of-the-Box capabilities.
- Build and review solution designs and architecture.
- Partner with development teams.
- Lead platform upgrades and feature adoption.
Discovery & Automation
- Work with CI class owners to resolve Discovery errors across compute, network, application, and cloud resources.
- Recommend defined ownership and accountability for CI and asset data across all technology teams.
Reporting & Compliance
- Produce CMDB health reports, asset compliance dashboards, and lifecycle analytics for IT leadership and audit stakeholders.
- Ensure CMDB and asset data supports GxP, audit, and regulatory requirements consistent with Legend Biotech''''s quality standards.
- Support governance and audit reporting for hardware asset ownership, managed-by accountability, and support-group assignments.
- Institutionalize strong data governance across Discovery, Intune, and manual inputs to ensure consistency and integrity.
- Familiarity with Azure Logic Apps, Azure SQL, and hybrid integration architectures.
- Knowledge of Workday–ServiceNow integration patterns (JML, HR lifecycle events).
