Summary

Title: Java/ AWS Power Systems Software Consultant

Location: Holyoke, MA (Hybrid Role)

Contract: 06 months (With possibility of extension)

Role: Senior Java /AWS consultant to develop, modernize, and support mission-critical Power Systems applications for energy operations.

Key Requirements:

Strong Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices experience.
Hands-on AWS experience with EC2, EKS/ECS, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch, and Step Functions.
Experience with Oracle/PostgreSQL, enterprise application integrations, and workflow orchestration.
Experience with CI/CD, monitoring, logging, automation, and cloud operations.
Experience with application modernization, cloud migration, and scalable enterprise solutions.
Energy/Utilities/Power Systems experience, particularly load forecasting or outage coordination, is preferred.
Exposure to ML/AI, time-series analytics, or forecasting is a plus.

Strong communication, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills.
