Job Title: Java Developer (AWS, Kafka, Microservices, Angular)

Plano,TX and Columbus,OH

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Java Developer with strong experience in AWS cloud services, microservices architecture, Apache Kafka, and Angular. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications in a cloud-native environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend applications using Java 8/11/17 and Spring Boot

• Build and maintain microservices-based architecture

• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services

• Implement event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka

• Deploy and manage applications in AWS cloud environment

• Develop responsive front-end components using Angular (8+)

• Work with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools

• Write clean, scalable, and testable code

• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions

• Troubleshoot and optimize application performance

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud

• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture

• Experience with Apache Kafka (producers, consumers, topics, partitions)

• Cloud experience with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS preferred)

• Frontend development experience using Angular

• Experience with REST APIs and JSON

• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)

• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes

• Experience with Git and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Knowledge of security best practices (OAuth2, JWT)

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology

• AWS Certification is a plus

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

• 3–8 years of experience in Java development

• Experience working in cloud-native and distributed systems
