RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Remote Senior .NET Engineer.
Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support an application modernization and vulnerability remediation. This role will focus on modernizing legacy applications, migrating applications from .NET Framework to .NET Core, addressing vulnerabilities, and performing hands-on analysis and testing throughout the development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
* Modernize legacy applications and migrate functionality to .NET Core
* Develop and maintain applications using C# and .NET
* Support vulnerability identification, remediation, and secure development efforts
* Perform application analysis, troubleshooting, and testing
* Work within established SDLC processes and development standards
* Collaborate with development and technical teams to identify and resolve application issues
* Support integration, data movement, and reporting using SSIS and SSRS
* Contribute to ongoing application modernization and remediation initiatives
REQUIREMENTS:
* Strong C#/.NET development experience
* Full-stack .NET development experience
* Experience with SSIS and SSRS - both required
* Experience with application vulnerability management and remediation
* Experience supporting application modernization initiatives
* Strong analysis and testing experience
* Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
* Understanding of GitHub Enterprise Cloud (GHEC) or similar enterprise development environments
Preferred Qualifications:
* Strong experience with Harness - heavily preferred
* Experience migrating applications from .NET Framework to .NET Core
* Experience with secure development practices
* Experience working with APIs
* Experience with Snowflake
* Experience with Atlassian tools, including Jira and Confluence
* Experience with qTest
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
