We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our team in supporting Army tactical programs. As a Software Engineer specializing in Mobile Network Engineering, you will design, develop, and maintain mobile network solutions with a focus on edge computing and advanced mobile network protocols to enhance the capabilities and performance of our systems. This position is customer site, Fort Bragg, NC.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our team in supporting Army tactical programs. As a Software Engineer specializing in Mobile Network Engineering, you will design, develop, and maintain mobile network solutions with a focus on edge computing and advanced mobile network protocols to enhance the capabilities and performance of our systems. This position is customer site, Fort Bragg, NC.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain software applications using one or more of the following technologies: Kotlin, Rust, JavaScript, Java, C#, or C++.
- Design and implement mobile network solutions for edge computing environments.
- Work with Layer 3 and Layer 4 network protocols, including but not limited to Multicast, TCP, UDP, QUIC, and NORM.
- Optimize mobile network performance to ensure reliability and security in varying operational environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software on schedule.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex software and mobile network issues.
- Ensure mobile network solutions comply with security and performance standards.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years' experience in software development using Kotlin, Rust, JavaScript, Java, C#, or C++.
- Strong understanding of mobile network engineering principles and applications.
- Proficiency with Layer 3 and Layer 4 network protocols (Multicast, TCP, UDP, QUIC, NORM, etc.).
- Experience with TrellisWare technologies is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
- U.S. Citizenship required due to security clearance requirements.
- Active Secret clearance required.
Preferred:
- Previous experience working on military or government contracts.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices and cybersecurity principles.
- Familiarity with mobile network technologies (e.g., 4G, 5G, LTE, MANET).
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
