Job Description
We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in web and API automation testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building and maintaining automation frameworks, creating automated test scripts, and working closely with Agile development teams to deliver high-quality software.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of QA experience with strong Automation Testing background.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Experience building or enhancing automation frameworks.
- Strong experience in API Testing using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, Swagger, or SoapUI.
- Experience with Web Application Testing.
- Good understanding of Java, JavaScript, or Python for automation.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
- Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Accessibility Testing (WCAG/A11Y).
- Experience with Mobile Testing or Appium.
- Experience with Git and version control.
- Cloud testing experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks.
- Develop and execute automation scripts for web and API applications.
- Validate REST APIs and backend services.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
- Participate in sprint planning, defect triage, and release activities.
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
