Job Title: Tax Analyst
Location: Dallas, TX 75207
Type: Part-time Contract (9+ Months, Possible Extension/Conversion)
Part Time | 2-3 days a week (24 hours per week)
Payrate: $45/hr. on W2
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Works under the supervision of a Tax Manager to assist in managing indirect taxes of the U.S. and Canada
- Researches and analyzes various tax issues as requested
- Prepares accurate indirect tax returns and work papers for the U.S. and Canada
- Provides audit support in indirect tax examinations
- Updates and maintains tax notices and tax payment/refund status
- Develops and maintains relationships with business partners
- Continues to develop and apply technical expertise and stays current on tax issues
Skills and Qualifications Required:
- 1+ years of working experience with Big 4 and/or a corporate tax department is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred
- CPA / Chartered Accountant / equivalent certification is preferred
