Full Stack Software Engineer – Java / Spring Boot / Angular / AWS

We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer with hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Angular, AWS, and SQL to join a team building scalable internal tools and test data platforms.

This is a hands-on software engineering position working across backend services, front-end applications, cloud infrastructure, APIs, and relational databases. The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of professional software engineering experience and is comfortable contributing across the full application stack.

Candidates must currently be located in the Chicago area and available to work onsite as needed. The position is currently hybrid, with the possibility of returning to a full-time onsite schedule in the future.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.

• Build responsive front-end applications and interfaces using Angular.

• Deploy, monitor, and optimize cloud-native applications on AWS.

• Develop efficient SQL queries and work with relational databases.

• Support test data management workflows and platforms.

• Design and integrate REST APIs.

• Develop reliable, scalable, and well-tested software features.

• Participate in CI/CD processes and Agile software development practices.

• Troubleshoot application, database, and cloud-related issues.

• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams on application design, development, testing, and deployment.

• Contribute to scalable internal tooling designed to improve engineering productivity and data quality.

Required Qualifications

• 2–4 years of professional software engineering experience.

• Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.

• Strong hands-on development experience with Java.

• Proficiency with Spring Boot.

• Front-end development experience using Angular.

• Hands-on experience with AWS services.

• Strong SQL and relational database skills.

• Experience designing or consuming REST APIs.

• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and practices.

• Experience working in an Agile development environment.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a software engineering team.
