Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Architect with AI to lead the design and implementation of AI-powered analytics solutions using Snowflake Cortex within a modern enterprise data platform. This role will serve as a senior technical expert, partnering with Platform Architects, Data Architects, and AI leaders to enable secure, scalable, and governed AI-driven analytics capabilities.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in **Snowflake Cortex**, enterprise data platforms, and AI-assisted analytics, with a strong focus on governance, explainability, and responsible AI adoption.
Key Responsibilities
* Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Snowflake Cortex and AI-powered analytics capabilities.
* Design and implement LLM-powered analytics, AI-assisted querying, and intelligent insight generation using Snowflake Cortex.
* Translate business requirements into scalable AI-enabled analytics solutions.
* Develop architecture patterns for natural language interaction with governed enterprise data.
* Ensure AI-generated outputs are explainable, auditable, repeatable, and compliant with enterprise standards.
* Partner with Platform Architects to align Cortex implementations with enterprise architecture and governance.
* Collaborate with Data Platform teams to prepare semantic models, curated datasets, and medallion architecture for AI consumption.
* Work closely with Security and Governance teams to establish responsible AI guardrails and mitigate data exposure risks.
* Support enterprise adoption of Snowflake Cortex while ensuring compliance with security, privacy, and governance policies.
* Provide technical guidance and best practices for AI-driven analytics across business and technology teams.
Required Qualifications
* 7–10 years of experience in Data Architecture, Analytics, Data Engineering, or AI-enabled enterprise platforms.
* Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake, including production experience with Snowflake Cortex.
* Strong expertise in designing and implementing enterprise analytics solutions on Snowflake.
* Experience building AI-assisted analytics solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs) and governed enterprise data.
* Solid understanding of data governance, security, metadata management, and responsible AI practices.
* Experience creating semantic layers, curated datasets, and AI-ready data models.
* Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional architecture, engineering, and business teams.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (Data 360).
* Experience with Salesforce Agentforce.
* Exposure to native AI and analytics capabilities across other cloud data platforms.
* Snowflake certifications such as SnowPro Core and SnowPro Advanced Architect are highly preferred.
