The South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles is looking for a skilled Network Administrator Consultant who will act as a point of reference for the Network Operations Center team on technical issues.

·         Will close to submissions on July 15th, 2026, at 5:00PM EST.

·         Interview Process: Two Rounds. Candidate needs to be prepared to go onsite for one or both interviews. 

·         Duration of the Contract: 12 Months

·         Possibility for Extension: Yes

·         Work Location: Fully Onsite

·         Candidate location: Candidates must be residents of SC, NC, or GA AND be willing to relocate within 40 miles of Blythewood, SC prior to their start date at their own expense.

·         This position will total 37.5 Hours per Week - there is potential for being on call outside of regular business hours and on weekends on an as needed basis for outages.

·         Candidate will be required to travel to various SCDMV Field Offices during work hours. A Valid Driver''s License is REQUIRED for this position. A state vehicle will be provided for travel.

·         10+ years of experience with Cisco Firewalls

·         10+ years of experience with Cisco Routers

·         10+ years of experience with Cisco Switches

·         10+ years of experience with Cisco VPN

·         10+ years of experience with Cisco Administration

·         5+ years of experience with Palo Alto Firewalls

Preferred Skills

·         10+ years of experience with monitoring and tracing tools

·         10+ years of experience with core network architecture

·         10+ years of experience with advanced troubleshooting, routing, and switching

·         4+ years of experience with wireless networks

·         3+ years of experience with hybrid cloud infrastructure

Certification - CCNA and/or CCNP
