Responsibilities & Expectations
- Lead a pod of eight engineers; own technical execution, sprint delivery and code quality.
- Operate the spec-driven development workflow end to end - specification, plan, task breakdown, generation, validation and review.
- Act as merge authority; critically review AI-generated code against standards, security and coverage thresholds.
- Coach engineers on specification authoring, agent steering and output verification.
- Contribute reusable prompts, patterns and context assets to the project knowledge layer.
- Own test-first discipline within the pod and ensure automated coverage gates are met.
Experience & Expertise
- Min 10 14 years in software engineering with 3+ years leading development teams.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Full-Stack .NET, React and TypeScript; working knowledge of Kafka.
- Demonstrable experience using AI coding assistants on live projects - not evaluation or pilot exposure.
- Microservices, REST API design and cloud-native delivery on Azure or AWS with mature CI/CD.
- Strong test automation practice across unit, integration and end-to-end layers.
- Ability to coach and raise the technical bar across a team.
