Steering and Braking Subsystem Controls Engineer - C, MATLAB/Simulink, and Stateflow
We are seeking a talented Steering and Braking Subsystem Controls Engineer to support the design, development, and validation of advanced control systems for machine applications. This role focuses on defining subsystem control requirements, developing embedded and model-based software, and ensuring high performance, reliability, and functional safety across steering and braking systems.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with C, MATLAB/Simulink, and Stateflow. You should have a solid understanding of control systems development, requirements analysis, and software integration. Experience working with hydraulic systems and data communication protocols such as CAN and J1939 and Ethernet is highly preferred.
In this role, you will collaborate with internal teams and machine divisions to define subsystem requirements and select appropriate electrical, electronic, and hydraulic components. You will work closely with software engineers to support both hand-coded and model-based development, design and maintain subsystem test benches, and perform validation and regression testing.
